Offenders and breakers of the law who were caught not wearing the face mask were made  to desilt and scrub gutters.

In Dome, a suburb of the Ga Municipality, a blockade was set –up to check the defaulters of the COVID-19 protocol law and also made to buy the face mask at GH¢5 instead of the regular GH¢3 .

After, the police and Military  proceeded to the Agblogbloshie market to discipline other culprits over there into desilting and cleaning of gutters.

Boaz Orlan- Hackman, the Public Relations Officer of the Ga East Municipal Assembly said, the operation was not just going to be for that particular day but a continuous act.
