Exactly A Year Ago, Ghanaians Lined Up To Choose Between Death By Firing Squad And Death By Hanging – Manasseh Azure

Award-winning Investigative Journalist, Manasseh Azure Awuni has poetically likened last year’s elections to Ghanaians making a choice between death by hanging and death by firing squad.

The Journalist’s post appears to be in direct reference to the 2020 election which was held exactly a year ago and which saw the re-election of President Akufo-Addo for a second term.

Though he didn’t make any explanation as to what he meant by ‘death by hanging’ and ‘death by firing squad’, many people who commented under the Twitter post seemed to have generated their own understanding of the post as can be evident in their responses.
