Even Jesus Christ Refused To Answer Pontius Pilate; Jean Mensah Can’t Be Forced – Lawyer Ampaw

Private legal Practitioner Lawyer Maurice Ampaw has insisted that the 1st respondent in the ongoing election petition, Madam Jean Mensah cannot be forced to answer questions from the petitioner.

Using the Bible as reference, he indicated a time when Jesus Christ himself refused to answer questions posed to him by Roman governor, Pontius Pilate; adding that likewise Jean Mensah can only be cross-examined if she’s willing to.

“This is not the first time a respondent can decide not to answer questions. You can remain silent even at the edge of death. Jesus Christ did the same. In front of Pontius Pilate when asked if he is the Messiah, he remained silent,” he was quoted by peacefmonline.

Meanwhile the Supreme Court has set Thursday February 11, 2021 to determine whether Madam Jean Mensah testifies or not.
