Even Hushpuppi Won African of the Year – Akufo-Addo Brutally Mocked for Forbes Award

Former Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Free Zones Board, Kwadwo Twum Boafo has downplayed the significance of the African of the Year Award recently handed to President Akufo-Addo by Forbes Magazine.

Speaking on Metro TV, Twum Boafo who belongs to the opposition NDC said questioned the credibility of the Forbes Award given to the President if persons like Nigerian fraudster, Hushpuppi were also once recipients of the awards.

Hushpuppi is a Nigerian social media influencer facing criminal charges in the United States for fraud and other scams.

Meanwhile President Akufo-Addo has said the award signals that the world is seeing the work of his government.
