Former Ghana Ambassador to Saudi Arabia and National Vice Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Alhaji Said Sinare has claimed the ruling New Patriotic Party have plotted to bribe NDC polling station agents on December 7 to take away their pink sheet.

According to him, the NPP will pay huge sums of money to NDC polling agents to induce them to give out their original pink sheets so they replace with duplicated ones.

Alhaji Sinare made these allegations while addressing the Zongo Community in Ayawaso West Wugon Constituency.

He stated, “If you want us to win this Constituency and we play the fool on the d day, we will regret it. They will want to bribe a lot of your agents to take away their pink sheets from them.”

“I did mention this sometime back in our meetings. I said they have an agenda whereby they will duplicate original copies of the pink sheet and I said this at Power FM two days ago. I said look, let us marshall our people every polling station don’t have less than 50 NDC strong men in there. Women and Men, let them be there, go and have your lunch, come back and Police the ballot box. If we do this, I swear to the almighty Allah that this seat well will take it. Through this, we will protect the ballot boxes to the end, we will match the NPP boot for boot, I will like to see at least 50 NDC members at each polling station to protect the ballot boxes and I know it is very possible,” he added.
