Election 2020: NDC Adopts ‘One Collation Center, One Lawyer’

The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in its bid to to win power convincingly through a fair election this year, has launched a strategy dubbed , “One collation centre, one lawyer”.

Speaking during the launch, chairman of the party, Samuel Ofosu Ampofo stressed the NDC seeks to ensure all challenges encountered during collation is sorted.

“It is the aggregate of the polling station results that will give us the victory come December 7. So my clarion call is that, identify yourself with a polling station.

“If for nothing at all, where you vote, make sure that on election day you are staying there from morning till the election results are declared,” he stated.

Explaining further on the need for the strategy, Elvis Afriyie Ankrah, director of elections for the NDC said “we are involving our lawyers so that at the point of collation, they will be there to ensure that everything is done within the parameters of the law.”
