Election 2020: Mahama Cannot Win, Akufo Addo Can Lose It – Manasseh Azure

Investigative journalist Manasseh Azure has suggested that former President John Mahama is not likely to win this year’s election as it is President Akufo Addo’s own to lose.

In the build up to the elections, the two major contestants have been throwing shades at each other amidst regional tours.

John Mahama at the unveiling of his running mate, Prof Jane Naana Agyemang said, “We will implement a Free Primary Health Care Plan. This will make the provision of primary health care to all Ghanaians, young and elderly, free.”

He further chided the Akufo Addo government for using the military to intimidate persons especially in the Volta region to stop them from registering for the new voters card.

President Akufo Addo over the weekend on Wontumi TV also jabbed Mahama saying, “You are the worst performing president of Ghana for the past 30 years and you have the audacity to label my government as incompetent.”

“Everybody in this country knows who the incompetent one is. Even a toddler in this country knows that Mr. Mahama is the incompetent one,” he remarked amid laughter.

In a post on Facebook, Manasseh Azure stated, “John Mahama cannot win the 2020 election. Akufo-Addo can lose it.”

As to why Manasseh believes Akufo Addo has the upper-hand over John Mahama is yet to be known.
