Ejura Shooting: Death Toll Reportedly Hits 4 As Calm Returns

The death toll in the unfortunate Ejura shooting incident in which security officials clashed with irate youth is said to have hit 4.

About 8 other person’s are also said to be battling for their lives at the Ejura Government hospital.

Security forces clashed with irate youth in Ejura this morning after the burial of #fixthecountry activist, Macho Kaaka.

Kaaka was beaten severely by an unidentified mob a few days ago and was treated at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital where he died.

It is widely claimed that the activist was beaten by unknown NPP sympathizers who claim his advocacy is making the Party unpopular.

An official police statement released after the disturbance claims that some of the youth protestors had firearms.
