The newly elected New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate for Manhyia North, Akwasi Konadu has insinuated that the education sector alone can win NPP the elections this year.

According to him, the ruling NPP has put in much efforts in the education sector and therefore Ghanaians are going to give them their vote if they hit on their achievements.

Speaking on Wontumi TV in Kumasi, Akwesi Konadu made mention of the free SHS policy and the successful implementation of the double track system which according to him is the first of its kind in the country.

“President Nana Akufo-Addo’s government has performed in all sectors; and I am confident our records in the education sector alone can help us retain political power,” he said.

He added, “we will produce our records and will compare them with any political party that is seeking to topple us from government for the electorate to see and compare.”
