EC Boss Attacked In Highway Robbery

The Ashanti Regional head of the Electoral Commission, Benjamin Bannor has been robbed by armed men on the Anwiankwanta-Obuasi highway.

According to Starr News, he had his personal belongings seized while while returning to Kumasi from a trip to the Western Region.

There have been rising concerns about robbery attacks in the country.

Member of Parliament for Mfantseman Constituency, Ekow Quansah Hayford was last Friday killed on his way back to Accra after a campaign trail in his constituency.
