Duffuor, Others Can Give Their Money To Bloggers Instead Of Contesting Mahama – Kofi Adams

Member of Parliament for Buem Constituency, Kofi Adams has said it’ll be a waste of money for anybody in the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to contest former president John Dramani Mahama as flagbearer for the 2024 polls.

Speaking on Okay FM he he casted doubts on rumours that Dr Kwabena Duffuor has harboured plans to contest the 2020 NDC flagbearer; noting that unless something goes wrong he believe Dr Duffuour will not attempt such thing.

He said persons who plan to contest Mr Mahama must take a cue from what happened in 2020 during the NDC primaries when candidates could not even poll 5% against the former president.

Mr Kofi Adams said if anyone within the party is so hell bent on gaining popularity by contesting Mahama, they can consider giving their filing fee money to bloggers to make them popular instead of disgracing themselves with less votes.

“If anybody wants to be popular and he has money, even the filing fee alone, if he gives it to bloggers, they will help make him popular rather than to contest a Presidential Primaries that John Mahama is involved”.

“Bloggers can promote that person than to waste his money to contest John Mahama to gain popularity. We have not opened nominations and so I don’t want to mention names and besides, Dr Kwabena Duffuor has not declared his intention to contest the Presidential Primaries,” he insisted.
