Dr. Bawumia Donates GH₵ 200,000 To Victims Of Akyem Batabi Building Collapse

The Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has gone to the aid of victims of the church building collapse disaster that occurred at Akyem Batabi in the Asene Manso Akroso District in the Eastern Region.

Dr. Bawumia visited the location of the disaster as part of his Eastern Regional tour to commiserate with the church and affected families.

He revealed that GH₵ 200,000 bounty has be released to help the families involved.

So far, 30 people have been rescued with 8 survivors and 22 dead.

Meanwhile, the founder of the Church of Prosperity, Prophet Akoa Isaac, was on Saturday, October 24, 2020, granted police enquiry bail after his arrest on Friday, October 23, 2020.
