Prophet Nigel Gaisie, leader of the Prophetic Hill Chapel has been cautioned to stay away from commenting on Rev Owusu Bempah’s predicament.
Owusu Bempah was arrested on Sunday, September 12, together with three other members of his church. On Monday, he was charged with offensive conduct conducive to breach of peace, the threat of death, and assault of office public officers.
Commenting on the issue, Nigel Gaisie said President Akufo-Addo and the NPP had neglected the man of God; noting that he should have been granted bail since he was a close ally of the President.
Responding to Prophet Nigel, Presidential staffer, Nana Hesse Ogyiri cautioned him to stop taking the matter to a political angle since he could make matters worse for Mr Bempah.
“Nigel Gaisie, please stay away from this issue. Don’t use your NDC induced lenses to complicate issues for the Pastor,” he wrote on Facebook.
