Deputy National Chief Imam Dies Aged 103

Sheikh Ahmad Kamaludeen, the Deputy National Chief Imam has passed away at the age of 103 years.

He died on Saturday dawn and has since been laid to rest at the Awudome Cemetery in line with the Muslim tradition, a report by the Ghana guardian said.

The funeral was officiated by the National Chief Imam while attended by dignitaries from both the NPP and NDC sides.

Sheikh Kamaludeen was a learned Islamic scholar who had received several accolades in the West African sub region.
