Delta Force Members Pretend To Be National Security And Forcefully Attempt To Remove Security Coordinator; Police Quickly Intervenes
Disbanded pro-NPP vigilante group, Delta Force had once again attempted to cause mayhem by attempting to forcefully remove the Ashanti regional security coordinator from office Tuesday.
The group, in the first tenure of President Akufo-Addo’s administration stormed the courtroom and freed their colleagues who were standing trial for causing disturbances at the Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council.
According to a report by starrfmonline, Mohammed Seidu allegedly led his gang to invade the office of DCOP retired Ayensu Opare Addo in the effort to remove him. The gang which claimed to be officials of the National Security stormed the premises of the Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council for their illegal operation.
Their operation was however foiled as the regional minister, Simon Osei mensah had received intel and quickly stationed the police to stop the menace.
urrently, all the suspects are in the custody of the Ashanti Regional Police Command.
