Saddick Adams, a sports journalist, confirmed this during a sports broadcast on Kumasi’s Angel FM.

“I just got a call from captain Andre Dede Ayew,” he added. At the stadium, his watch is lost. He stated that whomever recovers the watch will be rewarded handsomely. He claims to know a great deal about the golden watch. It’s worth hundreds of thousands of dollars.”

Dede Ayew traveled in to support his teammates despite being suspended from the two-leg match against Nigeria’s Super Eagles.

Pictures of him engaging with new debutante Dennis Odoi during a training session at the Baba Yara Stadium have gone viral.

In a two-legged match, the senior national team will face their Nigerian counterparts, with the victor earning one of Africa’s five spots in the 2022 World Cup, which will be hosted in Qatar.

The Black Stars will play their opening leg on Friday, March 25, 2022, at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, with the return match four days later in Abuja.
