Covid-19: Akufo-Addo Announces Ghana Football Return Date

After months of hiatus due to Covid-19, Ghana’s football will be returning to action on Friday October 30, 2020, President Akufo-Addo has announced.

Addressing the nation on his 17th Covid-19 updates, the President stated that there will be no spectators permitted into stadiums for the time being.

Further more, protocols associated with the novel Coronavirus will be strictly adhered to as the fight to defeat the virus continues.

Ghana’s football and sporting activities had been halted for months since the outbreak of the coronavirus.
