Consider A New Bill, Maybe Spouses Of President Bill If You Want To Pay Your Wives – Mahama’s Aide Shades Akufo-Addo
An aide to former President John Dramani Mahama who is also a private legal practitioner, Joyce Bawah Mogtari has said the government may have to introduce another bill to parliament if First and Second Ladies are to be paid salaries.
According to the aide to the former president, paying of presidential spouses cannot be done under Article 71 and 108. However, she advised that they should consider a new Bill, maybe spouses of President Bill.
