Conduct Early Congress To Help The Presidential Candidate Tour Every Place In Ghana- Obiri Boahen Urges NPP

A former Deputy General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Lawyer Nana Obiri Boahen has appealed to the National Executive Council of the ruling party to organise an early National Congress to elect a flagbearer.

According to Lawyer Obiri Boahen, an early congress will help the elected flagbearer get ample time to tour the country.

Speaking on Wontumi TV Morning Show, he recalled that the party conducted early congress in 1998 and it conjured magic for them in the 2004 general election.

He said the early Congress helped former President Kufour voyaged every area in the country.

Lawyer Nana Obiri Boahen suggested that the Congress should be scheduled in September 2023.
