Close Down ‘Useless’ Rent Control – Dumelo Fumes

Actor cum politician, John Dumelo has charged the government to shut down the rent control department.

According to him he sees no use of the department when Landlords continue to force Ghanaians to pay two years rent advance when the laws of the country says otherwise.

He tweeted, “the new year has begun. Residential tenants are about to cough up 2 years rent advance because that’s the “Landlords Law”. What happened to the Rent Law itself? The rent control dept should be closed down. What is really their use?”
