Chinese Government Demands Involvement In Fight Against Galamsey

The Chinese government have admonished government to partner with it in the fight against illegal mining.

A delegation from the Chinese embassy to the Ministry of Land and Natural Resources led by the ambassador H.E Shi Ting Wang on Friday May 21, expressed unhappiness with the involvement of Chinese nationals in illegal mining in the country.

They expressed their desire to help government clamp down on the menace by blacklisting its nationals involved in it from traveling.

The sector minister, Samuel Abu Jinapor welcomed their decision to help and warned other foreign nationals to desist from illegal mining in the country.
