US-based controversial Ghanaian broadcaster, Kevin Ekow Baidoo Taylor has alleged that the Chief Justice, Kwasi Annin Yeboah has directed a judge who is expected to sit on a contempt of court case involving Assin Central MP, Ken Agyapong to free the lawmaker of the charges.

It will be recalled that this portal reported yesterday that the outspoken lawmaker for Assin Central had been dragged to court over comments he is alleged to have passed on a judge who was trying a land dispute case involving him and another.

On his ‘With all Due Respect’ show on his privately owned Loudsilence Media yesterday, however, Kevin Taylor alleged that he has information to the effect that President Akufo-Addo has instructed the Chief Justice to ensure that the Assin Central MP is freed.

According to Kevin Taylor, the Chief Justice has secretly directed the MP to begin rendering apology on radio for his earlier comments against the judge which were deemed contemptuous so as to purge himself of contempt before the court sits.
