Wontumi To Hold Talks With US Ambassador Over Mahama’s Hostility Towards Supreme Court Judges, Ex-gratia

The Ashanti Regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako has plans to discuss with the American Ambassador to Ghana, HE Virginia E. Palmer, John Mahama’s vitriolic towards Supreme Court Judges.

In addition to this, Mr. Antwi-Boasiako popularly known as Chairman Wontumi stated that he will add the issue of ex-gratia and how John Mahama has tried to swindle Ghanaians by trying to hide the millions he has taken from the nation as gratuity.

Chairman Wontumi stated that America has thrived on the foundation of democracy and have respect for their judiciary but in Ghana, John Mahama has been hostile to it and pooh-poohed the institution.

In a Facebook post by Mr. John Mahama, he revealed that he received and held discussions with HE Virginia E. Palmer on matters of mutual interest to Ghana and America.

He stated that “we discussed the state of security in the West African subregion and its implications for Ghana, the state of our economy, investment in local industries, and the hostility of the Electoral Commission towards the NDC.”

But Chairman Wontumi rebuuted and stated that it is rather the NDC that has been hostile to the EC and even boycotted its Inter-Party Advisory Committee (IPAC).
