Carlos Ahenkorah Seeks Forgiveness of Tema Traditional Council

Member of Parliament for Tema West, Carlos Ahenkorah has in the company of Deputy Transport Minister and MP for Tema East, Titus Glover gone to seek the forgiveness of the Tema Traditional Council (TTC).

Leading the delegation was Tema East MP Titus Glover, NPP Parliamentary Candidate for the Tema West Constituency, Yves Nortey, as well as some Constituency and Regional Executives of the NPP.

This Portal had earlier reported of a statement issued by the TTC barring Mr Ahenkorah from stepping foot into their palace for disrespecting them.

In what seemed like a swift response, Mr Ahenkorah in the company of some NPP executives on Wednesday visited the palace to seek clemency.

Nii Shipi Armah Sompunu II, the Warlord for the Tema Traditional Area accepted the apology and further cautioned persons who fail to show respect to the council to put a stop to it.
