On his latest expose’which focused on an alleged murky contract in the Bongo District Assembly, award-winning journalist, Manasseh Azure has admitted his inability to prove the direct wrongdoing of the DCE and the bank manager at the center of the brouhaha.

In his latest investigative documentary, Manasseh Azure turned his attention to his hometown, Bongo where he sought to throw light on an alleged murky contract by the District Assembly.

The investigation suggests that the Bongo District Assembly awarded a contract to themselves using a company owned by an innocent individual as a front.

The investigation further proves that the fees of the said Contract was deposited into the account of the owner of the said company and withdrawn without his consent and approval.

By this, Mr Azure, sought to portray in his documentary that the Maltaaba community bank, the bank at the center of the controversy, may have acted in concert with the Bongo District Assembly to engage in an illegality.

However, as the public continues to digest and scrutinize the documentary, Mr Azure has admitted that despite the inferences, his investigation was unable to ascertain whether or not the DCE, Peter Ayimbisa or the Bank Manager Benefitted from the so-called murky contract.
