Attorney General Takes Over Kennedy Agyapong’s Contempt Case

The Attorney General, under the order of the Supreme Court has taken over the contempt case involving Assin Central Member of Parliament, Kennedy Agyapong.

Kennedy Agyapong’s lawyers had petitioned the Supreme Court on September 17, 2020 to stop the presiding judge, Justice Wunter Wuni from going ahead with the case.

Deputy Attorney Godfred Yeboah Dame, who was in court when the SC gave the order, was asked to study the affidavit on record and to argue the case in court on Wednesday, October 14.

Kennedy Agyapong was summoned for contempt after raining insults and threats on Judge Wunter Wuni on his NET2 TV station.
