Former Deputy General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress, Samuel Koku Anyidoho has set the records straight on the two public universities which were constructed under the last NDC administration.
According to Mr. Anyidoho who was a close confidante of late President John Evans Atta Mills, contrary to information being peddled by elements within his own party, the NDC, the University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS) and the University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR) were both built by the late President and not John Mahama.
Koku Anyidoho, founder of the Atta Mills Institute has had quite a strained relationship with his party in recent times, with some elements within the party referring to him as a traitor.
However, it appears the weeks ahead will be full of revelations as Koku Anyidoho gears up to set the records of the late President straight. Ultimately, it appears former President Mahama and his legacy will be the most affected.
