Ashanti Region Must Give NPP Over 2 Million Votes In 2024- Charles Owusu

A former Head of Monitoring Unit at the Forestry Commission, Charles Owusu is calling on the people of Ashanti region to give the New Patriotic Party (NPP) over 2 million votes in the 2024 general elections.

“Ashanti region has to give the NPP over 2 million votes”, he said as he listed some of the projects President Akufo-Addo’s government has undertaken in the region.

In his view, the government of President Akufo-Addo has done more good to Ashanti region than any government can boast of.

“Akufo-Addo has done a lot for the region. If Mahama built schools, Akufo-Addo has done more than him. If it is hospitals, Akufo-Addo has done more than him”, Mr. Owusu said on Wontumi TV.

He called on the region which is considered as a political world bank of the ruling NPP, to increase the votes they give the NPP and cautioned that the National Democratic Congress (NDC), should not be given a chance.

“If Mahama is given a chance to return, it means Ghanaians don’t even know the direction we want to head to”, Charles Owusu said.
