Mensah Thompson, Executive Director of the Alliance for Social Equity and Public Accountability (ASEPA) has been admitted at the hospital after an alleged food poisoning, My News Gh has reported.

This comes hours before a planned protest by his organisation and other Civil Society Organisations against the inauguration of President-elect, Akufo-Addo on January 7.

The protest seeks to challenge the result of the Techiman South constituency seat while calling for a public collation of the parliamentary results of the 2020 general polls.

While he remains in hospital, what becomes of the protest is left unanswered.
