Ansu Gyaebour Attacks Kennedy Agyapong For Naming Him As Killer Of Ahmed Suale

Ansu Gyaebour, the man alleged by Assin central lawmaker, Kennedy Agyapong to be the killer of investigative journalist, Ahmed Suale has hit back at the loudmouth MP.

Denying the accusation, Mr Gyaebour said he never knew Ahmed Suale, let alone make attempt to kill him.

According to him, he may have been an easy target for Kennedy Agyapong because he had a brush with the law and the Ghana Police Service published his mug shot in a Wanted notice

“All those who know me know that I can’t even kill a fowl. Ahmed Suale? I don’t know him [he said in Akan]. I trade oil and gas. I am an oil and gas trader. I have nothing like no relationship with any media because oil and gas is not tomato that we advertise. We don’t even advertise. I don’t know who Ahmed is. I don’t know whoever the F*ck is. I don’t care,” Mr Gyaebour was quoted by 3news.

He bemoaned: “What if the family of Ahmed [Hussein-Suale] meet me somewhere and they stab me. What will happen? What have you achieved? I have three children. Is it not stupid?” he stated in a video he did, claiming friends and family have been calling since the allegations were aired by the popular MP to check up on him.

Kennedy Agyapong had claimed that he had the information from the police after they had exonerated him of any connections to the crime.

“Why is it that when someone kills a police, within three days, the person is caught? When a Ghanaian kills another citizen who is not a police personnel or part of the security agencies, the person is never arrested. Why? That is why I am saying that when I go, my Committee [Committee on Defense in Parliament] will invite the minister,” he was reported by ghanaweb.

He continued: “And I have a typical example of Ahmed Suale when I condemned Anas, the person who killed him is in the Ashanti region. The police briefed me themselves that I am exonerated and that they don’t know why this thing happened and that I should stay away but I insisted, ‘how do I stay away when Anas, that thief, that murderer mentioned my name to the extent that a Congressman reported me so much that when I got to Houston in 2019 November, I was stopped that I had killed Ahmed Suale’.

“And then today, you have the report, you know. And the most painful aspect is that they told me that I should have patience and that the guy [suspected killer], whose name is Ansu Gyeabour – today, you are privileged, you are the first because it enrages me. I say he is in Kumasi. Yes! Yes! Ansu Gyeabour, and the police have shown me his pictures, asking me to be patient, for over one year yet my name is out there,” he explained.
