Amidu’s Government Official 1 Claim Nonsense; Mahama Right On Labeling Him Stupid – Jinapor

Member of Parliament for Yapei Kusaugu, John Jinapor has labeled as nonsense Martin Amidu’s Agyapa Report where a portion named former president John Dramani Mahama as the Government Official 1 in the Airbus scandal.

In the corruption risk assessment report of the Agyapa deal, the Special Prosecutor identified Mahama as the face behind the Government Official 1.

In reaction, Mahama slammed Amidu for naming him in a report that had nothing to do with the Airbus scandal, calling him a coward and his actions stupid.

Speaking to Citi FM, Jinapor justified the National Democratic Congress flagbearer’s comment that Martin Amidu’s action was stupid.

“I listened to him [Mahama], and all he said was that what happened in terms of the report was nonsense and it was the act and the right words to describe the report and that was all that it was.

“He [John Mahama] was referring to the action and not the man himself. The point is that what Martin Amidu did is not what he was supposed to. He was meant to do a corruption risk assessment of the Agyapa deal,” Jinapor asserted.
