Akufo-Addo’s People Asked Me To Help His Gov’t But I Refused – Kwame Sefa Kayi

Veteran Journalist, Kwame Sefa Kayi has revealed that persons in President Akufo-Addo’s government asked him to help them out in certain areas but he declined.

According to the veteran broadcaster, when the proposal was made by the unnamed persons, he asked them to allow him concentrate on his work as a journalist.

There were rumors in 2017 when President Akufo-Addo was sworn in that the broadcast journalist was going to resign from his post at Peace FM and work at the Jubilee House communications department.

However, in an interview on Peace FM’s Entertainment Review, Sefa Kayi explained that President Akufo-Addo himself did not offer him any job as was widely claimed.

According to him, it was rather the President’s people who wanted him to help the government out in certain areas which he declined.
