Akufo-Addo Says Appiah Stadium, Who Accused Him Publicly Of Being A ‘Wee Smoker’ Is Actually His Best Friend

President Akufo-Addo sent the whole studio of Ash Fm in Kumasi buzzing with laughter after he announced that serial caller, Appiah Stadium is a very close friend of his.

President Akufo-Addo, while being interviewed on Ash Fm, was informed that Appiah Stadium sends his regards because he was listening in.

According to the President, many Ghanaians don’t know that Appiah Stadium is a close friend of his, and that he cannot understand how he ended up at the other side of the political divide.

It will be recalled that in 2017, Appiah Stadium was arrested after publicly claiming that President Akufo-Addo was a ‘wee smoker’.

He was transferred to the CID Headquarters in Accra for interrogation, however, he was discharged by the police after President Akufo-Addo indicated that he is not interested in pursuing the matter.
