Akufo-Addo Importing Water From The UK To Drink- Journalist Alleges

Morning show host of Rainbow Radio, Dr. Ren, has disclosed that President Akufo-Addo is currently importing his drinking water from the United Kingdom.

The experienced journalist, during the newspaper review segment on Rainbow Radio 87.5FmandRainbow Radio 92.4Fm, said, ”let me state on record that President Akufo-Addo is currently importing his drinking water from the UK”.

He was responding to a newspaper story which captured a judge urging the judiciary to take a firm stance against illegal mining since it was destroying our water bodies.

He stated that our leaders are not concerned about fighting galamsey since several of them are complicit.

He indicated that we have to take the issues raised by the Ghana Water Company seriously since Ghana could import water in the next three years.

He said the quality of our treated water is not at its best and causing health implications for people.

He said ”let me state this fact. President Akufo-Addo is importing water from the UK to drink…The Ghana Water Company has warned that we could import water abroad if we do not stop galamsey. The quality of the water we drink today is not at its best”.
