The Ashanti regional chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Bernard Antwi Bosiako, also known as Chairman Wontumi, believes Ghana is currently better than the United States of America and the United Kingdom under Akufo-Addo’s government.

According to him, Ghana has made tremendous development since the NPP took power in 2016.

“Ghana is now better than the United States, Ghana is better than the United Kingdom because of the development Akufo-Addo is bringing to Ghanaians,” he stated during the party’s National Delegates Conference in Kumasi.

President Akufo-Addo has challenged party members to demonstrate to Ghanaians that they understand democracy ahead of the summit.

“The party’s national delegates conference is taking place right now. Some people try to seduce us, but they are unable to do so. We have what it takes to get where we want to go. After I leave office, the person you choose to succeed me will become President. The conference is being watched by all Ghanaians. I’m begging you all to be more disciplined. “I also want you to exhibit unity among ourselves,” the President stated at the inauguration of the party’s constituency office facility in Juaben, Ashanti Region.

“Let us conduct ourselves in such a way that everything goes smoothly,” he continued. No other party has been able to organize constituency and national delegates conferences to the extent that we have. We are also demonstrating to Ghanaians that we are democratic pioneers. As a result, I’m pleading with you all to be disciplined, especially given what’s going on in our stronghold.”
