Akufo-Addo Appointee Forced To Apologize After She Declared Bawumia As Incoming President At Sir John’s Funeral

A senior Presidential staffer at the Jubilee House, Theresa Addison has been forced to retract and apologize after she declared Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia as the incoming President of Ghana.

Madam Addison who was on the floor to announce the funeral donations of the President and Vice President made the remark probably out of over-excitement.

This is probably due to the large crowd that mobbed the Vice President upon his arrival and how the crowd chanted his name.

However, Madam Addison came under a barrage of attacks from NPP faithful on social and mainstream media who criticized her actions as immature and premature.

Subsequently, Madam Addison was forced to render an apology for breaching Party procedures and preempting the decision of delegates.
