Afriyie Ankrah Downplays NPP Intellectuals Claim, Insists Some NPP Members Are Empty And Arrogant

Director of Elections for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Elvis Afriyie Ankrah has downplayed claims that the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) is made up of intellectuals while the NDC have few fine brains.

Speaking to Fiifi Banson on Truth and Untruth which on GhOne TV he said although he believes the NPP has some intelligent personalities, he also knows some who are empty and arrogant.

According to him, some were referred in their courses back in university and he as an SRC president in school, some NPP members didn’t even quality to be potters.

“NPP people some of them are fantastic people but some of them are empty and arrogant. Please they should give us a break. This thing about people… we were in school with them, we were in school with them,” he said.

He added, “some of us were SRC Presidents they didn’t even qualify to be potters in our administration, they should give us a break. Some of them didn’t pass, they were referred. What is all this nonsense, arrogance? for where they should give us a break.”
