A New NDC Government Would Be Better Than The Previous One — Mahama Assures Ghanaians

Former president and flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama has said that when he’s given the nod to lead the country as president in the 2020 polls, the New NDC government would be better than the previous one.

According to Mahama, during his time as president, he worked hard to improve the livelihood of citizens, however, there were some mistakes he committed and wants to come back and correct them.

He lashed the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for halting most of his project as a result of change of power.

“Development takes place in stages. The last time we were in government, it was to improve the road network so we get many of the roads on contract. Unfortunately, because the NDC left office, a lot of these projects came to a standstill. So I can assure Nana that, I am in a unique position because I am the only President who has the opportunity to come back and correct his mistakes. No other President in Ghana can do that. I believe that a new NDC government will be a much better government than the previous one”.
