2023 Action Year for Road Sector – Amoako-Attah

The Minister for Roads and Highways, Kwasi Amoako-Attah, together with a team of engineers, has inspected the progress of some road projects currently underway in Accra.

The Minister inspected the projects on Tuesday, 3 January 2022.

The Minister inspected the School Junction to Motorway Road Project, which is currently 43 per cent complete.

Works on the road, which leads to the new Olympic-size stadium being constructed at Borteyman for the upcoming 13th Africa Games, is expected to be completed by June 2023.

The School Junction to Motorway Road project when completed will reduce travel time, improve safety of persons and goods commuting from Ashaley Botwe, Nmai Dzorn, School Junction and Borteyman to the Tema Motorway.

Expressing satisfaction with the level and progress of work, the Minister stressed that “2023 will be an action year for the road sector.”
