2020/2021 Academic Year For Basic Schools And SHS Postponed Till January 2021

President Akufo Addo has announced that basic and senior high school students will remain home in efforts to mitigate the impact of the Covid-19 till January 2021.

Addressing the nation on Sunday August 30, he noted that the Ghana Education Service will work on proper adjustments to the curriculum to ensure that nothing is lost from the forfeited year.

He indicated that relevant dispositions will also be made so that the presence, at the same time, in school of all streams of students, can occur in safety.

Meanwhile, second-year students in Senior and Junior High Schools are expected to return to school on October five and will stay for 10 weeks.
