1D1F Initiative: Not Even Nkrumah Achieved A Quarter of This, Biggest Rollout of Factories In Ghana – Gabby
A leading member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Gabby Otchere Darko has said Ghana’s first President Dr Kwame Nkrumah could not achieve a quarter of what President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is doing relative to the creation of factories under the One District One Factory (1D1F) initiative.
The One District One Factory initiative is a key component of the industrial transformation agenda of the Akufo-Addo-led NPP government.
Gabby said the initiative is the biggest rollout of factories in the history of Ghana and the Gold Coast.
In a tweet “This is the biggest rollout of factories in the history of Ghana and the Gold Coast. Not even Nkrumah achieved a quarter of this in his 9yrs from Independence. Even better, all financed through credit from Govt but privately owned.”
